This serum vial, manufactured from low extractable borosilicate glass that conforms to USP Type I requirements, is ideal for long and short term storage, lyophilization (freeze drying) and vaccine/injectable drug containers. By matching the tube neck size to the corresponding seal and stopper, a crimper can be used to seal the serum vial accordingly.

This design provides maximum sealing for vials with a straight-wall glass finish. The straight plug stopper locks in to the interior of the vial’s neck, providing a tight seal and keeping the stopper from backing out.
This all-purpose design for lyophilization applications reduces the possibility of legs sticking to each other. The stopper prongs lock into the interior of the vial neck, providing a tight seal and keeping the stopper from backing out.

Steri-Tamp® has a patented dual-layer that leaves a true tamper evidence with "opened" marking.
This design provides maximum sealing for vials with a blow-back glass finish, which is a small ridge on the interior of the vial’s neck. The snap-on stopper locks into the blow-back ridge, providing a tight seal and keeping the stopper from backing out. This style is not recommended for vials with a straight-walled finish. The blow-back feature is typically found in vials from North American manufacturers.
