Lactic Acid, USP (Racemic) is a colorless or yellowish, practically odorless, syrupy liquid that is miscible with both water and with alcohol. It is hygroscopic. Dietary Supplement Grade refers to a nutritional supplement that is manufactured by an FDA-registered dietary supplement manufacturer or manufacturer with other certifications and registrations, based on applicable laws and regulations. Qualified manufacturers follow their applicable standards of practice, which are less stringent than those for FDA-registered drug manufacturers. The canopy connection allows the enclosure to be thimble-ducted to the outside for additional protection. The canopy's air gap provides a means of balancing air by allowing room air to enter the ductwork and mix with the filtered air being exhausted from the enclosure.
